Not me getting emotional unboxing 14 bridesmaids lehengas for one wedding 🄹✨

Because behind this order is months of planning, color coordinating, measurements, all the conversations , and a bride trusting The Kurta Lady with one of the most special days of her life. ā¤ļø

Moments like this remind me that I’m not just selling Indian clothes in the USA — I’m helping create memories for weddings, bridesmaids, and celebrations that families will remember forever.
Bridesmaid lehengas officially ready ✨

A little BTS because I’ve been pretty quiet on Instagram lately.

Not gone. Just busy.

Busy helping customers find the perfect wedding outfits, coordinating bridesmaid lehengas, packing orders, taking pre-orders, and keeping this little boutique moving every single day.

Sometimes small business life looks less like content creation and more like late nights, endless boxes, and a to-do list that never ends.

But I’m still here. ā¤ļø

Thank you for being patient while I work quietly behind the scenes. The best part is that I get to do what I love—and that’s helping you celebrate life’s special moments in beautiful outfits.

Love,
The Kurta Lady

Sometimes you need to step away a little… to come back with stories worth sharing ✨

Took a small break from posting, traveled a little, hosted one of the most special events for my community, lived fully offline for a bit… and somewhere between all of that, Amsterdam happened 🌷✨

So here’s a little carousel dump of moments that made me pause, smile, and feel inspired again.

17 slides, a lot of memories, and maybe a soft reminder that life doesn’t always have to be posted in real time šŸ¤
Which slide is your favorite? ✨

There’s something special about watching a small business grow. šŸ¤
From a humble beginning to a beautiful new space—seeing Mrs. Kumar’s journey reminded me why supporting local means so much. As a fellow small business owner, being there with my family to celebrate this milestone felt extra special. Here’s to women building dreams, one step at a time. ✨

It started with a vision… to create a space where community, culture, and local small businesses could shine.
And what happened next… pure magic. ✨

A little RANG ā¤ļøšŸ’•

Rang was created as more than just an event—it was a celebration of culture, community, and women supporting women. Through Rang, I wanted to create a platform where women-owned small businesses could be seen, supported, and connected with the community.
What made this event especially meaningful was seeing the community show up, support local entrepreneurs, and celebrate South Asian culture together. Having local leadership—including the mayor, council members, and community leaders—recognize and support this vision made it even more special.
Rang was my way of giving back to the community that has supported my journey as an entrepreneur, while also creating opportunities for other women-owned businesses to shine. It was a beautiful reminder that when one woman rises, she can bring an entire community with her.
