After having the Opportunity to do the Fashion Show Monday night I have had several people say I had no idea that you have had this Back ground that Fuels your desire for Fashion and your Business. So I wanted to share the nice BIO that was writen to Introduce me.
What I wouldn't give for my Mom and Dad to be here to see how far I've come. I am finally using the Degree they so graciously provided me with. I love and miss them so much. They were the greatest people Ive ever met and not just because they raised me. ♥️♥️
My story :
Shelley Alsept | Founder & Owner
Shelley Alsept grew up in Plymouth, Ohio, and following high school, pursued her passion for fashion by relocating to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There, she earned a degree in Fashion Marketing from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, laying the foundation for a lifelong dream of boutique ownership.
Shelley returned home to build a life centered on family, marriage, and community. While temporarily placing her entrepreneurial ambitions on hold, she dedicated 32 years to a successful career at MTD, serving as a Logistics Coordinator—a role that strengthened her expertise in operations, organization, and customer-focused excellence.
Once her daughter graduated from high school, Shelley embraced the opportunity to finally pursue her creative vision. What began as a small boutique in the garage of her home quickly grew into a flourishing business built on passion, perseverance, and personal connection.
Now, after five years of continued growth, Shelley is preparing to open her fourth boutique location at 26 West Main Street in Shelby, marking an exciting new chapter in her journey. Alongside this milestone, she is also celebrating her newest and sweetest role—being “Mimi” to her granddaughter, Ellie.
Shelley’s story is one of dedication, resilience, and heart—a seamless blend of family values, professional excellence, and a genuine love for helping women feel confident, beautiful, and inspired.

Bee Beautiful Boutique provided the clothing for our next four models. You can currently find Bee Beautiful Boutique inside The Little Shops of Shelby, located at 44 East Main Street. Excitingly, the boutique will be opening its own storefront at 26 West Main Street in Shelby this coming May.
The shop offers a wide variety of women’s clothing, accessories, candles, and more. Owner Shelley Alsept personally assisted the models in selecting these bright, fun, and stylish outfits.
