What started as a shopping trip turned into something my spirit truly needed. 🖤
While in Texas, I got the chance to visit one of my longtime clients turned family — Cousin Sandra. And when I say family, I mean that literally. Same roots. Same last name as my grandmother’s maiden name. Somewhere along this journey, God crossed our paths through fashion… but kept us connected through something much deeper. ✨
She’s been rocking with me since my Dexter Avenue days. Since the pop-up era. Since the “figuring it out while trusting God” era.
Recently, she shared with me that she had been sick and in rehab after leaving the hospital, and I remember feeling so helpless being so far away. But this trip placed me only an hour away from her, and I knew I had to go.
We sat.We laughed.We shared testimonies.And for once, her order wasn’t shipped… it was hand-delivered with love. 🖤
This business was never just about clothes.
It has always been about connection. Community. Healing. Showing up for people. And allowing God to use fashion as the doorway.
This one meant more than y’all probably know.
