My friends at Property Preservation of Georgia are hosting an Estate Sale this weekend in Lawrenceville that is absolutely packed with an estimated 300-350 original oil paintings by local artist Sophie Guoer. Beautiful still life, florals, “skyscapes” with a series titled “Clouds”, the “Backyard Series” of yard scapes, city scapes and more. Her work was featured by the Gwinnett County library system as well as the city of Smyrna. There are pieces of all sizes from 8x10 to 5 foot wall murals. There are many blank canvases of all sizes, sketch books, oil paints etc. There’s a collection of vintage Chinese porcelain and books and a selection of ordinary household items. If you’re an artist, art lover or art student, then you want to go to this sale! Opening Friday and Saturday at 9:00 am , 585 Ambur Lake Drive, Lawrenceville, Ga.
All artwork must be sold this weekend so it is priced to sell. Don’t miss it!

It’s time for the Opening Hunt for Fox Hunting season! I’m refashioning some vintage hats for Erica and I to wear, finally getting to use some more of the beautiful pheasant tails that we harvested in Kansas last year.
