Happy Fall y'all! Loving the weather we've had this week! Fall is definitely my favorite season, it makes it easier to mourn the end of summer. 😂 My wish is winter never comes, who else wants Fall weather all year round?! I need a place like that to exist!

I finished getting all my cold weather clothes out this morning and it made me so happy! I love the summer, no school, pool days, beach days, and everyone spending time together! I think this year has me especially grateful for every moment that we get to be with family finally and ! 🎉❤️🥰

After a week away from Instagram I just wanted to say I'm so grateful for all of you who reached out and prayed for our family during this time. Sometimes you just need some time off to process everything and I'm glad I let myself do that.

I think it's easy when you own a business to tell yourself that you can't take that time because you have orders to fulfill or deadlines to meet. This break has made me realize that simply isn't true. It's a choice, and people will either understand or they won't.

So if you needed a sign, here it is, take the time you need because the world will keep spinning either way. Don't let others expectations of you keep you from doing what's best for you and your family.

I'm so sad to have to say goodbye to this amazing lady. She fought a long 2 month battle with Covid and beat it! She got home and suddenly 2 days later passed away from an embolism (post-covid complication). We thought she was in the clear, she was so excited to be home and out of the hospital! We all couldn't wait to visit her now that she was home in the coming weeks.

It's really surreal how fragile life is... I just can't imagine our family functions without you there. She was truly the 'matriarch' of the family. We lived next to her in her rental house for a few years when Mason was little. I was home with Mason so we used to walk over to her house during the day and we always had the best conversations.

She taught me SO much about life but the thing I will never forget is her encouragement to stay home with my children. She always said I would treasure the time I was able to spend with them when I looked back. So much wisdom, love and strength wrapped up into one perfect woman. I can't believe I won't be able to have those conversations anymore.

One thing I know is that she was so at peace with life and death and fully believed Gods timing was perfect. I know she is up there watching over all of us and out of pain. We all love you so much Grandma and will miss you like crazy. @ Mooresville, North Carolina
