Majoring in Business and Fashion, she graduated from the Art Institute of Charlotte in 1999, exemplifying her dedication and passion for her craft. In 2000 she opened her first dress making shop in Catawba County. Her incredible talents and wide range of skills allowed her to offer a variety of services such as alterations, patchwork, textiles, dress making, designing, and much more producing grea
t success for her business. She moved TVT Tailoring to its current location in Mooresville in 2011 where her business has continued to flourish. Tatyana fell in love with the Mooresville community and has since made a name for herself as a very well respected and reliable business woman, as well as a friend. As an active member of the community, she strives to lend support to fellow business owners and community members. Tatyana states “If I can help one person in the community to help others that is a big success.” She enjoys the fulfillment of dedicating her time and services to charities such as the Allegro Foundation in 1999, a non profit organization that supports children with disabilities, by designing costumes for their Christmas Show at the White House. Tatyana understands the struggles and the importance of support. Her father, a retired fireman, had always inspired her to pay tribute to the services, but felt compelled to contribute on a much larger scale. Tatyana’s Fashion Show Fundraiser will promote the Mooresville community by increasing the exposure of local businesses and support our veterans by donating all of the proceeds to the Welcome Home Veterans Living Military Museum. This will be the first launch of her unique fashion label, featuring 1950s style clothing with a modern twist of new age. With 28 years of experience in the fashion industry under her belt and a keen eye for detail, this line is sure to catch the interest of all who attend and be a fantastic start to Tatyana’s brand.
