We are fixing history on Friday July 10 at Ivy Room. famously OPENED for in 1967. That was odd. But we and our buddies Liquid Sky A Tribute to Jimi Hendrix are putting the universe right by having US open for Jimi. Come on out and witness the correction of an alternate reality for yourself. All will be well... (And to keep things even more grounded, The Tumbling Dice Stones tribute are headlining.)

Join The Sun Rays as we perform this Saturday at the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City in the Levitt-AMP Carson City Music Series. We will serve again this year as the opening act for Los Angeles's Igor and The Red Elvises. We will start right at 7:00 p.m., so don't be late.

In 1997, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers invited Los Straitjackets to support a few shows. Immediately following, the band entered the studio and - uncredited - recorded the one and only Blue Stingrays album “Surf-N-Burn”. Originally released by Epitaph Records imprint “Epitone”, it was recently repressed and we got the limited edition blue vinyl, just in time for summer! 🌊🔥
