Y’all… when I said taking a couple days off for my son’s graduation put me BEHIND behind, I don’t think I fully understood the DAMAGE until I got home. 😂😭
I came back to:
🔥 Over 150 transfers to print
👕 Over 80 shirts to press
🥤 Around 15 can holders to make
📦 And a whole lot of orders waiting on me like, “Soooo… where you been?” 😂
I have been printing, pressing, packing, losing things that were literally in my hand, talking to myself, and surviving off pure stubbornness.
AND THEN MY HEAT PRESS DECIDED THIS WAS THE PERFECT TIME TO FALL APART ON ME. 😭😂
Not malfunction.
Not act funny.
FALL. APART.
So apparently my heat press and I really ARE in a toxic relationship. 😂 She tried to leave me during my lowest moment, but I grabbed some tools, performed emergency surgery, put her ass back together, and told her WE HAVE ORDERS TO FINISH. 😂💀
And when I say my heat press and I are in a toxic relationship, I mean that LITERALLY. 😂
Right in the middle of pressing a shirt, the ENTIRE TOP PLATEN came unscrewed and CRASHED DOWN. 😳 Thank God my hands weren’t underneath it because that could have ended very differently.
Did I panic?
Nope. 😂
I grabbed my heat-resistant gloves, lifted that hot heavy thing back up, grabbed my tools, performed emergency surgery on her, and basically said:
“Ma’am, I have 80+ shirts to press. You are NOT dying today.” 😂💀
Put her back together and went right back to work.
Small business ownership: where apparently I’m the designer, printer, shirt presser, customer service department AND heat press repair technician. 😂
BUTTTTTTT…
I AM FINALLY CAUGHT UP! 🙌🏼🎉
Like ACTUALLY caught up. Not “caught up except for these 47 things sitting in the corner” caught up. 😂
And I’d do every bit of it again because taking those days off to watch my son graduate was worth ALL of the chaos I came home to. ❤️
So now that the transfers are printed, the shirts are pressed, the can holders are made, and my heat press has been threatened into cooperation…
BRING ON THE NEW ORDERS. APPARENTLY I THRIVE IN CHAOS. 😂🔥💪🏼
