It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing that Heidi’s Uniforms Morganton location will close effective August 31, 2022. The functions, employees and inventory of this store will be combined with our Hickory store located at 2565 US HWY 70 where we will continue to serve our customers and business accounts.
It has been a challenging few years for everyone, including independent retail businesses such as ours. All of the challenges that Covid introduced combined with continued rising operating costs and labor shortages have been a struggle for some time. Those issues compounded by the climbing inflation, which has affected everyone, appears to be the final straw that is forcing us to combine operations into one in order to survive as a company.
We hope you continue to visit us at our Hickory location. We have met many wonderful people and local businesses over the past five years and cherish those relationships that we have built with customers. We encourage everyone to support your local mom and pop stores whenever possible as they are the backbone of small towns all over America.
