So last month was very interesting. I began a new T-shirt line for 4 big cats.org. I also decided to begin a fundraiser about 3 weeks ago for my friend Linda who owns a facility called Almost Home. It's a rescue facility on Long Island to help homeless cats and dogs find new homes.
So I started selling this line of T shirts for $20 each and $5 would be donated to Almost Home. Well in a 3 week time frame I raised $170 for them. I would like to personally thank everyone who made a purchase. Thank you so very much.
For the month of July I would like to continue this fundraiser for Almost Home. And again thank you so very much for participating! ❤

This is muya and chupa. 2 of the ambassadors of the Emdoneni lodge and rescue. Looking forward to seeing them again. If im not mistaken there where at least six other Cheetah there that where rescued. The plan is to release them back into a preserve sometime this year.

The main reason why I called that video the 23 seconds that changed my life? Well for starters it was a moment that took my breath away. To feel the strength of that little guy in my lap. It's an experience I will never forget. So much so I became very interested in big cats from that moment on.
After several months of research, reading articles from the WWF, IFAW and just random Google searches I found the information to be anything but cute and cuddly. In fact I found the information to be quite alarming and very upsetting.
So I guess you can say I went from animal lover and tourist to flat out ANIMAL ACTIVIST!

That is the reason I started 4 Big Cats
