Hi guys! Patrick Here..

As we return from a busy start to the year with travel at Field Day, visiting some of you, celebrating shop openings, course openings with (thankfully) warmer weather, I can’t help but reflect.
Some call it a honeymoon phase, goosebumps, or pinch me moments, but I sure hope this feeling never wears off. Two years in after launching our own line, I think it’s safe to say the joy won’t stop.

I remember the first nail I put in this wall, hanging our first flag from Beverly Country Club here in Chicago. It’s because of the people like John, the early adopters, and the trust from all of you that this dream has been possible.

We hang a flag for every retail partner who has put their trust in us, here in our hometown shop. We fly them proudly, as I never quite dreamt of getting to see places like this… let alone have our product available for sale in their shops.

From coast to coast, and over the pond, we hope to keep hammering these nails, and adding flags from retail partners across the globe.

With much gratitude, we’re having a Field Day!

As a textile, the herringbone pattern became prominent in golf during the late 1800s and early 1900s. As golf grew from a pastime into a formal sport, players began wearing heavy wool tweeds - especially herringbone.

The Nygren Trouser in Black Herringbone is one of our many callbacks to this staple, but with modern functionality.

Originating in the Scottish Lowlands in the 19th century as wool outerwear for shepherds, houndstooth is also coined as shepherds check for this reason.
