Our ACE 2026 retiree members enjoyed a beautiful day exploring Red Lodge, Montana! 🏔️📸

The excursion featured stunning scenery, time to explore downtown Red Lodge, engaging conversations with Montana State University Extension professionals, and plenty of opportunities to reconnect with colleagues and friends.

During the Member Meeting this morning at the 2026 ACE Annual Conference, incoming president Latasha Everson outlined her goals as president for the incoming year, and Dr. Ricky Telg was honored as the recipient of the ACE Fellow Award!

Congratulations to Dr. Telg and Latasha Everson on their incredible achievements.

This morning, Voices of Montana brought its live radio show to the 2026 ACE Conference!

Broadcaster Tom Schultz interviewed ACE 2026 President Stacey Stearns and Conference Chair John L. Hawley about all things ACE, sharing the organization's mission, goals, and impact with listeners across Montana.

Additional ACE members will be interviewed throughout the day.

We had an amazing turnout at the Joe Marks Fun Run this morning, where participants had the opportunity to run or walk throughout downtown Billings.
Attendees completed the Pioneer Park 3.2-Mile Loop early this morning.

The Fun Run is named in memory of 1987-88 ACE President Joe Marks, and is a great way to start Day 2 of the ACE Annual Conference!

Day 1 of the ACE Annual Conference was kicked off with an incredible Academic and Research Poster Reception & Gold Gallery of C&A Winners, featuring a backdrop of an amazing view of Billings, Montana.

Participants in the Research Poster Reception were recognized for their innovative and relevant research related to pressing issues within the food, agricultural and environmental sectors. Attendees had the opportunity to vote for their favorite poster and the winner will be announced later this week!

Our C&A Winners were similarly recognized for their outstanding work, on top of receiving professional critiques and feedback of their deliverables to help them learn and grow within their industry.

Hi, ACE colleagues! I’m sharing a personal note to encourage you to think creatively about silent auction donations this year — especially non-tangible items such as virtual classes, professional services, coaching, vacation rentals or other experiences.

For example, I’m donating one virtual professional antiques/heirlooms appraisal, thanks to my husband, valued at $50-$100.

What are you — or a friend or family member — good at that ACE members might value? Photography tips? Resume reviews? Art lessons? Coaching? Design help? A weekend stay? Your time and talents could make a great auction item.

And don’t forget: The more you donate, the more likely you are to win the Top Donor Challenge. The donor whose item or items generate the highest total bids will receive a free 2026 ACE Level Up registration.

Prefer to donate something tangible, such as a gift basket or handmade item? This year, you can ship items directly to the conference so you can save room in your luggage to bring home Billings swag and other conference finds.
