Some days your outfit just needs to spark joy 🌻 and this embroidered mustard top does exactly that. A little garden-inspired, a little whimsical, a lot of good energy. I reach for it when I want to feel lighter going out the door.

I went out to water the roses this morning and ended up watering my own face. Every woman over 5O needs a little extra hydration to get us thru the day.

Worth it.

There’s something about getting out in the garden early…before the day has any real demands on it…that I can’t give up. Even when the hose has other ideas.

I’ve been wearing this striped shirt on repeat lately. It’s one of those pieces that just goes…..garden, errands, coffee on the porch. I stopped saving my favorite things for special occasions a long time ago. Thursday morning with the roses counts.

This is the season I’m in right now. A little messy, really happy, fully dressed for it.

Some days the garden doesn’t get weeded. The inbox doesn’t get answered. The to-do list laughs at you.

And somehow, you’re still out here…hands in the dirt, sun on your face, wearing exactly what makes you feel like you.

This is what I’ve learned after 30 years of building a life and a business: the messy middle isn’t something to push through. It’s actually where you live.

The yellow sweater, the red bandana, the jeans that move with you…I don’t dress for perfect days. I dress for real ones.

Because real ones are the only kind we actually get.

If you’ve been waiting for life to calm down before you start showing up fully….this is your sign. Wear the thing. Get in the garden. Let it be a little messy.
