In an effort to help streamline scholarship presentations and ensure an efficient and organized program for all participants, we ask that all organizations planning to present a scholarship RSVP by Saturday, May 16th.

2026 Class Night is Tuesday, May 19th beginning at 6:00 pm at Pelican Landing.

🚨🇺🇸 6 U.S. AIR FORCE AIRMEN KILLED DURING OPERATION EPIC FURY MISSION IN IRAQ 🇺🇸🚨 On March 12, 2026, tragedy struck when a U.S. Air Force KC135 Stratotanker refueling aircraft crashed in western Iraq during a mission connected to Operation Epic Fury, killing all six service members onboard. Military officials say the aircraft went down during an aerial refueling operation and was not shot down or hit by enemy fire, but the exact cause of the crash is still under investigation. The Pentagon has now identified the airmen who lost their lives as Maj. John “Alex” Klinner, Capt. Ariana G Savino, Tech. Sgt. Ashley B Pruitt, Capt. Seth R Koval, Capt. Curtis J Angst, and Tech. Sgt. Tyler H Simmons, all of whom were serving their country in a critical mission overseas when the devastating crash occurred. Maj. Klinner, a 33 year old pilot and father of three, leaves behind a grieving family along with the families of the other airmen whose lives were cut short in the line of duty, sending shockwaves through military communities across the country as tributes pour in honoring their service and sacrifice. As investigators continue to work to determine what exactly happened in the skies over Iraq that night, many Americans are now remembering these six heroes whose final mission ended in tragedy.
