For the past few years, I’ve absolutely loved making clean products and tallow-based products, but I’ve always been a little scared to really pursue that side of my business.
I’ve been afraid of failing. Afraid people wouldn’t like what I make. Afraid that maybe what I love making isn’t something other people would love too.
But I’ve decided that I don’t want fear to keep me from trying. ❤️
I started making tallow products because my kids and I have sensitive skin. We seem to react to the most random things, and finding products that work for us hasn’t always been easy. Tallow has made such a difference for our skin, and it’s honestly one of the first things I reach for when our skin is having a flare-up.
Then came laundry.
I tried making my own DIY laundry powder, and one of my girls ended up reacting to it. Instead of giving up, I started researching, experimenting, tweaking formulas, and making my own laundry products that would actually work for our family while still giving me the clean products I was looking for.
And somewhere along the way, I realized… I really LOVE this. 🥹
I love creating things from scratch. I love finding better ingredients. I love testing formulas until I finally get them just right. And most importantly, I love making products that my own family can use and feel good about.
So I’m finally taking a little leap and putting these products out there more.
I don’t know exactly where this will go, and honestly, that’s scary. But I’d rather try than always wonder what could have happened if I had just been brave enough to put myself out there.
So if you’ve followed me for the other things I make, I’d love for you to follow along as I grow this side of my business too. 🤍
I’m going to be sharing my tallow skincare, clean laundry products, household products, and all the things I’ve been making behind the scenes.
And if you decide to try something I make, thank you. Truly. Every order, recommendation, comment, share, and kind word means more to me than you know.
Here’s to finally getting out of my own way and giving this a real shot. 🤍
