We proudly announce two internal promotions here at Willow Tex!

Jeff Dowell has been promoted to Facilities Maintenance Specialist. Jeff, we like to jokingly say, “came with the building” but, in all seriousness, he was the obvious choice for this role. His deep understanding of our facility and its maintenance needs has consistently set him apart. Over the years, Jeff has also been a vital resource to our team, generously sharing his experience and insights through numerous equipment and process improvements. We’re confident that in his new role, Jeff will continue to support and strengthen our ongoing growth.

Jesse Pomeroy has been promoted to Quality Systems Manager. We were thrilled and lucky to be able to welcome Jesse back to Willow Tex last year. Since his return, and as expected, he has made a significant impact reestablishing key quality control initiatives, advancing our ISO certification efforts, and championing continuous improvements across our quality systems. His collaborative mindset and effective leadership over cross-functional initiatives have already proven him to be an asset to Willow Tex.

Had a company “cook-in” this week with the arrival of tropical storm Debby. Celebrated sending off our NC State intern back for her last semester. ❤️ Although a little wet, we still had fun with games and prizes.

We wanted to take a minute to shout out the awesome young talent we have here at Willow Tex!!! Recently we added a paid summer intern coming to us from NC STATE, studying for her Bachelor of Science in Polymer and Color Chemistry! She is already getting her feet wet and making an impact!

Also, we cannot leave out our other young talent that we have added recently, majority ages 20-23 and one 26. Blake McCormick, Domenic Torpey, Trinity Hawks, Hunter Easter, Jessica Echard and Jackson Martin. We appreciate this young groups work ethic and look forward to continued growth!
