Our business is entering a temporary metamorphosis—both in location and structure. This pause is not due to Mount Juliet’s lack of love for amazing vintage or economy. Rather, it comes from a deeply personal decision: choosing to prioritize my children during a critical season of life.
Mount Juliet—you showed up with extraordinary love and support. From customers to fellow small business owners, it truly felt like Team Mount Juliet.
We are not gone.
We are not defeated.
We are not done bringing you beautiful vintage filled with charm, history, and winsome beauty.
Please continue to follow us on Instagram and Facebook as we temporarily shift to an online format. We will return to Mount Juliet. For now, we are in the chrysalis—resting, growing, and preparing to emerge stronger than before. We are coming back to MJ soon.
If I defined myself by vocation alone, this season might look like failure. My identity is in Christ, and He has already given me my greatest rewards: “Children are a heritage from the Lord” (Psalm 127:3).
For the safety of my family, certain things must remain private. What I can share is this: I underestimated the long-term effects of coercive control within a family dynamic. Stepping back allows space for calm clarity. This decision carries a heavy heart—but no regret. There is no regret when children come first.

From the bottom of my heart—thank you for walking alongside us.
This isn’t goodbye.
It’s becoming.
