It’s time to share some news. After 18 years, the OG Bee in Mount Kisco is closing its doors and MOVING. And I have been sitting with that feeling for a while now, turning it over, making sure I had the right words and that my heart was ready.

Here’s what I know: I am lucky. I got to be the steward of this beautiful space, fill it with beautiful things and watched people fall in love with the magic of handmade things. I watched babies become teenagers, some deep friendships were formed, and a community emerged.

We’re sliding over our operations to another beautiful space at Yellow Monkey Village in Cross River. With the light, the energy, the creative community of artists all under one roof I think I will be in good company.

It’s a different flavor to the OG Bee. A little smaller, but beautiful and light-filled and — I truly believe — enchanting in its own way.

Watch this space for our Mount Kisco closing sales and our full Cross River timeline. There will be proper send-offs and new beginnings and I want you there for all of it.

As I was thinking about making this change, the lyrics to a song by British artist Badly Drawn Boy kept running through my head “Sometimes you’ve got to rewind, to go forward / There’s some good times, around the corner…”
