Getting ready for harvest time? Here is a potatoe shovel but could be used for shoveling corn for the critters. We have a couple very old sanctions. What would you do with them? A couple of apple picking baskets. Buggy wheels and if you want to take you eggs to the farmers market we have the egg carrier and we have some egg scales too!

How about a cute little white metal chair. The little ugly duckling one sold and no I didn’t paint it. Sweet little painted stand. How about a colonial writing desk? We have these! Oops I forgot the postal scale.

That little tower on top of every old barn wasn't decoration. It was the barn's chimney for heat.

Hay goes into the mow holding a little damp, and damp hay warms itself — packed tight with nowhere to breathe, it can smolder from the inside out. So the barn wore a cupola: warm moist air rises and slips out through the louvers, cool air pulls in below, and the hay keeps its temper. No fan, no switch. Just a building that knows how to exhale.

A barn fire could take a whole farm in one night. The little hat on the roof stood guard every day for a hundred years.
