❓ How much does it cost to be a vendor?
💲 $0.00. Yep, totally FREE!
This is our first year, and the Wapello Methodist Church has generously let us use their lawn.
Our goal isn't to collect vendor fees. It's about bringing the community together, giving small businesses a place to grow, and helping aspiring entrepreneurs work on and build their ideas.
❓ What kind of vendors are you looking for?
Pretty much anyone with something fun or interesting to offer!
🥕 Garden produce
🧁 Homemade foods & baked goods
🧼 Handmade products
🎨 Crafts
🥤 Drinks
🛍️ Unique or interesting resale items
🌻 Farm & homestead products
💡 New business ideas
Have something that isn't on the list? Ask us! We'll help point you in the right direction.
We just ask that products be family-friendly. No profanity or suggestive items, please.
❓ Do you have food vendors?
Sometimes, yes!
But if we don't have a meal vendor that night, don't worry. You can probably still fill up on cookies and sweets. 😋
🤫 Little secret: We've even had sugar-free and gluten-free vendors!
Or make a night of it and grab dinner at one of Wapello's great local restaurants before or after you stop by the market.

❓ How many vendors do you have?
We're growing!
We've had nights with as few as 4 vendors and nights with as many as 19 vendors.
Every week can be a little different, and that's part of the fun.
❓ How many customers stop by?
We're brand new and still growing.
Some evenings we might see around 20 people, while other nights we're getting pretty close to 50 visitors.
That's why sharing helps so much!
📲 If you're coming as a vendor or shopper, share the Wapello Farmers Market info with your friends and family. Word of mouth is one of the biggest ways to help the market grow.
❓ How do I sign up to be a vendor?
You don't! No sign-up is needed.
Have products left over from last weekend's farmers market, craft show, vendor event, or festival?
Bring them!
We have a feeling Wapello would love the chance to support you. ❤️
🕟 Vendor setup starts at 4:30 PM.
❓ Can I promote my business, farm, or farm stand at the market?
Of course!
Bring your business cards, info, signs, or whatever else you'd like to share. The market is a place to sell today AND let people know what you offer the rest of the week.
❓ What if I know about another market, show, or event?
Share it with our vendors!
If you have an event yourself, or know about a show that would be a great fit for one of our vendors, invite them.
We want vendors helping vendors.
Encourage them. Mentor them. Help them grow. 🌱
We'd love to see businesses that started or grew at our little market go on to bigger events, build their customer base, and come back to visit us now and then.
