Today, Bobby Hull’s widow announced he had CTE to raise awareness of the long-term effects of repetitive head impacts in hockey and encourage support for research.

Bobby Hull was a legend on the ice, but like many players of his era, he faced an invisible opponent off it—Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE). A powerhouse in the game, his story is a reminder of the lasting impact head trauma can have on athletes.
