Honoring my Grandfather in my own way….We didn’t have much time to spend together as a family because of his work, but Monday was our day. While my mother prepared lunch, Father would take David and I for a long walk up the hill. He often would find a chameleon and place it gently on his shoulder. It would stay there as he watched us run around, pick flowers and entertained my endless chatter. On the way down, he would make sure to put the Chameleon back on the same tree that he found it. He had a deep respect for nature.
