After a power outage derailed my plans for how to do the announcement this will have to do.
First, I want to say thank you to every single person who participated in naming this bracelet. I received so many thoughtful and meaningful entries, many of them honoring incredible women who have impacted lives in beautiful ways. Reading through them was truly special.
There were also some incredibly creative entries with names inspired by the way the bracelet looks and how it was made. All of you ladies truly have a gift for this!
I’ve also learned a few things through this first naming contest that will help me with future naming events… and yes, there will definitely be more opportunities! So if you didn’t win this time, you’ll have the chance to enter again.
Because I personally know many of the people who entered — or know the incredible women whose names were submitted — I felt it would be unfair for me to choose the winner myself. In light of that, I decided the best and most fair way to choose would be to put all of the entries on a wheel and let it randomly select the winner.
