I love capturing our own original photos, backdrops and decor. It just boosts the holiday cheer that much more. We were on Broadway in Sparta for 2019 before moving the shop to Broadway here in Mt Vernon, back in 2020. Each year of retail we make more memories. 2025 will be a year to remember, our first Christmas on Main St. We have made new acquaintances of which we are grateful. Some of them long distance, never to be forgotten.

I don’t want to start naming names and miss people, but you have to hear about Chip Waggoner and the book he wrote. It’s a neat story of how I came across his FB page, flashing his Holiday ties. YES WE LIKE TIES at 74! We sent a bit of Christmas Cheer down to Dallas and he opened the gift on ”The Post” at the FOX news studio. They were talking about neck ties and family ties and his book “Chip Waggoner MIP” speaking of the trial of their faith in the health of a child. A book that I will be ordering.

The acquaintances made this year has made for a good Christmas already. I really don’t need any gifts. God has been so good to gift us with friendships and family!!

We have seen merchandise go to New York, Tennessee, Mississippi, Texas and many others.
