Good morning! I’ve had so many thoughtful customers that have become friends that have reached out to check in, I also want each of you to know that after the storm I did read each and every comment on that post and they all meant so much. So for those that have asked for updates on life …..
I’ve been struggling and a bit absent from the shop. I never realized grief of losing your home and being displaced is a real thing. I’ve felt deep sadness these last couple weeks - trying to make the rental feel like a home and making sure my kids have what they need physically and mentally, insurance unknowns, future and time line of being in town unknown has taken a toll. Mental health is a real thing and yesterday was just a day that hit hard, I have been trying to be thankful and grateful that we are safe and that it could of been worse but at the end of the day I miss my home. And my heart hurts. I put a lot of love into making that house our home over the last 5 years and to have to be abruptly removed from it has been very sad.

I know this is temporary for at least a year. We will adjust in time. It’s just been a very hard adjustment for us all.

I will get back into the swing of things and a new normal again - I’m coming back to work today - and I’ve been reconnecting with the line up for our big upcoming 1st ever event , something I’ve dreamed about doing for years! I mentioned awhile back that I was cooking up something and it’s starting to come to life. It will be good for me to focus on something exciting🩷 I’m just finishing up the details for the ‘SHOP SMALL SUMMER CRAWL’ event and will be posting that this afternoon!! These events and creating a fun evening out with friends to shop and support small are what keeps us all going, without you we wouldn’t be where we are.

Thanks for being here, thanks for caring and loving me and supporting my shop. This shop was and still is my dream. Life has just, happened.. and I’m more than just a Boutique owner where sometimes all that gets posted are things for sale and what appears to be someone who just has it all together … but I don’t have it all together lately, I put a smile on and try my best to stay professional but at the same time I am real and I’m going through real life hard things… I’m thankful you are here and I love you all!
