Wednesday 2/3/22. I'm back to sewing full time now. I've been on a journey I wouldn't wish on anyone. I never would've expected developing sepsis, and certainly not Septic Shock. The mortality rate is not the best. For whatever reason, God decided it wasn't my turn to go home. So, I'm still here, and still sewing!

Hi, here is another update on Jess. She has seen her primary care physician and we have gone over what meds she should stay on or discontinue. She is back on her diabetic medication. Sleep has still been a significant issue, so she is now on her pain med again which is helping her to sleep at night. She is going to the gym now trying to get some exercise to build her strength back up and she is starting to get back into her sewing again. Trying to get caught up on what she had to do before Christmas. She is driving again and feels comfortable doing so. As far as the cause of the sepsis there seemed to be several things that factored. She had a UTI which we knew about and she was being treated for, but she also had pneumonia that she was unaware of. In addition all of the testing that was done has revealed a couple of things that we did not know were going on. Further testing will be done, but her liver needs to get better first. Occasionally she has trouble finding words still and she has mottling in her legs, not sure if that will clear. We would like to thank everyone for their generous donations and for their prayers. They are all very much appreciated. Thank you, Al and Jess.

I am currently on Hiatus in order to recover and heal from a severe life threatening ilness (not covid related). Although zipper season is in full swing, please remember prom and bridal are not too far behind. I am reinstating Rush fees. For bridal, anyting three months or less is considered a rush and will be required to pay a $50 Rush fee up front. This fee gets applied to any of my routine customers that I have to displace to accommodate such a rush.
