We took our name from the sooty shearwater, a remarkable seabird known for undertaking one of the longest migrations on Earth. With effortless grace, it glides just above the waves, “shearing” the water’s surface and harnessing wind currents to travel vast distances across oceans. Like the shearwater, we embrace a spirit of boundless exploration.
