I was gonna save this for tomorrow because I am doing another platform rollout at midnight tonight, but I decided to go ahead and do this one early. I know I kinda disappeared off of here for a while but.....

I have really big news. 📣😁📣

A little over a month ago, I was approved as an AMAZON HANDMADE STORE!!!!! 😃🥳😃

What is Amazon Handmade, you may be asking? Well, you are probably already shopping it and don't even realize it yet. It is a way for people who are designers and handmade artisans to access the Amazon marketplace and sell their designs/handmade goods, at their own pace, along with mass producers. You will notice that on my items there is a "Handmade" banner at the top and I am able to list that my items are designed in the U.S. 🥰

It has taken a while, I had a lot of decisions to make as to what to offer as well as setting each item up individually in the Amazon framework. 🤔 Amazon provides the framework but they do NONE of the work, so your store is yours to run exclusively. Since I can only be at the computer for about an hour a day, that has taken some time! I have been focusing on getting some merchandise loaded, I am hoping next week to maybe start designing my storefront.

So, for now, I am sharing a link to one of my better selling mugs. If you scroll down to where it says "Add to Cart", right underneath that it says it is sold by Darwin Dabbles. If you click there, it will take you to all of my merchandise that I have loaded at this time. I plan to get more crochet and jewelry up soon, hopefully, and I will update as I do.

I have been slowly working to expand the things available on Darwin Dabbles, my Shopify site! These will be posted and available starting tomorrow, all priced at or under $15! My goal is to make gift shopping online a little more affordable. 😊 I will put a shopping link up tomorrow once the new mugs, makeup/accessories bags, and baby onesies are loaded. 😃

Okay! So, I was going to wait to do this, but things are already starting to take off, so I guess I will let a little bit of the proverbial cat out of the bag....so to speak.....

What was formerly Darwin Bead's &Things has went through a total rebranding and overhaul! I was trying to get it going last fall, but Lewis's health and losing him halted everything. In the last couple of weeks I have been pouring all I can manage into it, and today I have a tentative roll-out.

I am still working on more product lines, but I should be able to unveil some of those next week. We are focusing on momma's - human and furry - as well as just being genuine and snarky in general. 😉 I'm sure there will be branching out from here, we are just gonna see how it goes.

*Deep Breath* Okay, time to take the plunge!

Welcome to my new webpage/shop, Darwin Beads & Things!!! 😃😃😃

I have worked out most of the bugs, I think. I don't have everything there that I want, but it is a work in progress and it is functional at this point. I'm learning as I go, lol! 🤪 I have owned the domain since early summer and now I'm finally ready to jump on in! My main hesitation was with deciding exactly how this was all gonna work, and also with continuing to rehab from my devastating crush injury to my left hand in June right after I got the domain.

My main concern was to not turn something I love into something I hate. 😉 So, what you see is what you get. I am not taking custom orders at this time. I also cannot guarantee that once something sells that there will be another one just like it. In fact, there will never be any two that are the same, even though I could potentially make another with the same yarn. Everything I have is posted, and as I complete new items I will add them to the shop and update everyone.

I may add jewelry, but I can pretty much guarantee it won't be before Christmas this year.

Shipping will always be FREE inside the continental US. ✈️

Also note that each item on the website says "Holiday Discount". The discount will be in effect until midnight Monday (end of Cyber Monday) and then all prices will increase by a minimum of $5.
