As parents, we pray our children will stay true to their roots, have a hunger for the outdoors, be curious, get lost, dream big, crave independence, get dirty, hit the ground running, chase the endless summer, do big things, wander and never look back and have no regrets. And so our brand is born, simply named Fin First.

Fun lil project 🌺🌿

If you’re like me and have an old tropical shirt that:

a. Is a lil tight in all the wrong places.
b. Has salsa stains on it.
c. Has a few too many snags or holes.
….then you’ve come to the right place to save your sweet shirt and all the vacation memories you made wearing it.

On a whim, I decided to wrap and fold the shirt on the cardboard backing of an old photo frame. No tape, no glue. I set our Gone to the Beach artwork print in the center, quickly flipped the prettiness into place against the frame’s glass and clipped the new art back into place. It took ten minutes tops and I think it added a fun lil pop of color. 🌺🌿

When it’s cold outside, we bring the beach indoors. A fun, easy project to do with our vintage map packaging….

🐚 Grab your seashells of choice.
🐚 Fill bowl with equal parts glue and water.
🐚 Trace shell shapes on map and cut.
🐚 Soak map pieces in bowl.
🐚 Pull out map sections from wet mixture and place inside shells, pressing and molding to the interior of the shells.
🐚 Let dry.
🐚 Paint rim and exterior of shells in color of choice. I chose ✨gold✨.

Whatcha doin’ tomorrow?! ☀️

Come on out to Southern Hops Murrells Inlet and grab a Golden Hour pale ale mixed up by yours truly….ok ok, their brewmasters may have helped a little 😉 Such a fun collaboration and behind the scenes experience from start to finish! We’ll be slinging duds from 2-6pm, so pop in and grab some local oysters (tickets may be sold out at this point though) and a let’s have good time, it’s a one stop shop🔥

Our gal pal A Little Selah will be there as well. Come shop small, listen to some good music, try some great beer and get your grub on!💛

We will be slinging duds bright and early tomorrow in the cute little town of Loris! You’ll find us set up with our friends District 10 Coffee Roasters and Southern Delights. The coffee creations and homemade sweet treats will be off the charts tomorrow, can’t wait to load up and get our sugar high. We will have lots of fun upcycled duds, stickers, mugs, holiday pillow covers and all the usual stocking stuffers! Fire pits will be up and blazing, Santa will be stopping by for pics and the weather is looking like a dream! We hope you can come shop small with us….pop in and support local. ☀️🎄
