Hey Everyone. So I have some news to share that I thought I would be doing in a different way. After 15 1/2 years in business for myself, I am retiring. I have been trying to sell Planet Tees for the past 6 months. I have had many people looking, but no serious buyers. My goal was to find someone to take over the business and take care of the customer list that I have built over the past 15 years. I have tried to keep my customer list in tact, by not posting on my social media and alerting all of you of my plans. Unfortunately, I have not found anyone interested in taking over my business. So I am sharing with you all right now, that I will be closing Planet Tees within the next week. I apologize to all my loyal customers that have made Planet Tees successful and truly Thank you all!
If I have some artwork or an embroidery design that you would like, let me know and I will see what I can do.
Again, I want to Thank everyone for your business and the friendships I have made along the way!

The unfortunate truth of owning/ and running a business.

Running a business is really hard.

What they don’t tell you is that it can cause severe stress and anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of depression in even the most laid back people.

People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore.

You have to worry about if you forget to email/message or call someone back, are they going to think it was on purpose? Did you disappoint them? Will they hold that against you? When in reality you just can’t get to everyone’s messages, emails and phone calls.

Running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there is just often no work life balance. You need to be the director, the worker, the admin, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner... All while being a parent, a husband or a wife, family support, friend... it’s one of the hardest things you will try and balance. If you give your time, you will sacrifice financial benefit. If you strive for financial benefit, you will have to sacrifice your time. It’s just the way it goes when your business is relying on you to survive and you’re relying on your business to provide!

There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in small businesses after 5 years. If they are successful they are overwhelmed. It takes a toll. It’s freaking exhausting. Especially the past couple of years when so much has been out of our control.

It's been 15 yrs here at Planet Tees and we are still going! Please come see me if you need any screen printing, embroidery, banners, tents, etc. . Also, if you know anybody else that may need my services, please pass this a long. Thanks!

Happy Summer! Hope everyone is keeping cool. Just sending shout outs to all of you that keep my world turning.

A heads up for those of you that will be needing shirts at the end of August/early Sept. , I will be going in for a hip replacement and will be out of the shop for a bit. So, if possible, please get your orders in ahead time, so that I can have your shirts ready for you when needed. Thanks Everyone!
