It’s a Grey Lady day! We love a good one. A day for slowing down a bit, enjoying the slower pace of the island. Take on a movie, meet a friend for lunch, visit the museums. Grey is good!

Happy Saturday friends! Welcome to the last weekend of August!

One of our favorite things about Nantucket is the abundance of Americana! The American flags that proudly wave across the island makes our hearts sing! Especially on Old North Wharf. It’s one thing we truly miss during the off-season when these cottages are all “shut” for the winter.

When I think of Sconset, I think antique. Like frozen in time. The shabby chic, beautiful weathered cottages, florals that look to have been planted hundreds of years ago…it just makes our heart full in so many ways. A reminder of slower, and simpler time. Take me bACK.

Things are slowing down a bit on-island and it’s a great time to get out and explore all the nooks & crannies without the crowds. We love visiting the calm and quiet of the Madaket boat ramp, Polpis Harbor, Altar Rock and venturing down roads you’ve never before traveled. Get out and enjoy! Remember, it’s an island, you can’t get too lost! 😆
