JULIA JENTZSCH | hand knitted recycled silk and cotton sweater

We hand knit the ARION sweater using silk and cotton fabric scraps from our previous projects as we continue working toward a zero waste model.

In collaboration with a local knitwear artisan, each piece takes shape slowly by hand, transforming leftover materials into something new.

A study in texture, craft, and thoughtful making.

The sweater is available now in our online store.

JULIA JENTZSCH | development

Our design process begins in our NYC Garment District studio. Researching, testing, archiving, and ideating.

We spend time looking for design and material solutions to ensure everything we make fulfills our mission statement, which is to commit to the mindful
consumption of materials to create environmentally responsible and timeless styles.

All patternmaking is done in-house by our close-knit design team. Then, we collaborate with our local makers to expand our styles to include a wider range of sizes.

JULIA JENTZSCH | handknit cardigan

As New York begins to warm, the evenings still call for a layer. WILLOW, our Hand-Knit Cashmere Cardigan in Ivory, was created in collaboration with a local knitwear maker and crafted slowly by hand. A comforting piece for shifting seasons, made with the care and attention that define everything we create, using recycled cashmere developed by Re-VersoTM. This innovative material regenerates existing cashmere fibers into a luxurious yarn while significantly reducing the environmental impact of traditional production.

Later this spring we will introduce HARU, the first piece in our new jersey program.

Developed in collaboration with Reguentex and Positive Materials, the fabric reflects an advanced approach to sustainable cotton textiles, bringing together innovative material development and responsible sourcing. Through this ongoing collaboration, we continue to explore jersey with the same standards of craft, quality, and environmental responsibility that guide all of our work. More to come.
