Love a small project ❤️

Something a bit different…

I don’t usually dabble in smaller pieces but I’ve had this vintage jewellery box sitting on the shelf for a while!

I used a teal shade of paint along with a floral transfer (featuring one of my favourite flowers) and a couple of butterflies added for good measure.

The interior is fully lined with loads of storage for jewellery items and keepsakes.

This weekend’s demonstration was decoupage and crackle. We took two dated metal lamps and gave them a new antiqued finish. The hardest part was waiting for it to dry between steps😂
Next week I’ll be working with gilding waxes.
