Today I made my last purchase at Joann Fabrics in Naperville — a place that’s been part of my life and business for the past 14 years. I started my journey as a maker and entrepreneur with fabrics from those shelves, and I’ve spent countless hours there dreaming, planning, and creating.
I’ve come to know the people who worked there — kind, helpful, familiar faces who always greeted me with warmth. Walking out for the last time today, I couldn’t hold back tears. It truly feels like the end of an era.
Thank you for being a part of my story, Joann Naperville. You were more than a store — you were where my dream began.
