Yes yall Sesame Street were confounded by Joan Ganz Cooney. Specifically to target inner city kids (Black-Brown) kids so they could have educational television. They wanted it to resemble what these kids seen everyday. This is where we first saw and heard the smooth voice of Luther Vandross.
