For decades they called us counterculture or even “anti culture”… as if we were everything that is wrong with society. As if we were irrelevant and irredeemable, having no value in the culture system or as human beings. Hippies, bohemians, gypsy souls, beatniks, travelers, witchy women… we never set out to fit into their box, we were too busy searching for self love and deeper meaning in life. Connection to our mother planet and fellow humans. Gentler ways to tread the earth and stop measuring our value with dollar amounts. Each day we have just a little more freedom than yesterday to live authentically, and isn’t that really what this whole journey is meant for? In spite of it all, we are the lucky ones!
