Nana is a vibrant great grandmother, grandmother and mother with a zest for life. She stays active by crocheting most every day. Some of her "creations" are from patterns found in books, some are her very own. She decides what (or who) she wants to crochet, the stitch pattern and color or combination of colors. No two are ever exactly alike. She loves to participate in craft shows, festivals and b

azaars - sharing her treasures with the children and their parents. Her booth is always one of the star attractions with cute cuddly animals peering from the shelves with their bright eyes, beckoning the children to come and snuggle. Her afghans show expert craftsmanship and intricate stitches. With assistance from her daughter, Judy Justice Rowe, as each creation is completed, it is inspected for quality, photographed, numbered and named before being packaged and tagged. Nana passed away March 22, 2020 peacefully in her sleep at the age of 90.
She is now reunited with her husband in heaven, looking down on all the children who have loved and cherished her crochet toys and afghans with love!

Thanks to all the mothers and fathers, grandparents and friends who supported her passion for creating soft cuddly creatures for children of all ages for so many years.

My sister Debbie and I are moving Mom (aka Nana) from the hospital to Solaris Healthcare, 900 Imperial Golf Course Blvd, Naples, Fl 34110 either today or tomorrow for recovery and rehabilitation after falling and breaking her hip Wednesday morning. We expect her to be there at least 2 weeks, more than likely 3. She is still weak, sleeps a lot and is a brave and determined "fiesty" lady. She has been up on her feet, but does need assistance to get in and out of the walker. This will be a long and painful journey, frustrating and discouraging at times. She does not do facebook or any other "new fangled" communication methods but would love cards, letters, pictures . . . Anything you can to help keep her spirits up. Doris Justice is Nana's real name.

Priced at only $14.99 (plus shipping) this is a great gift for the little ones. The "Blankies" all measure approximately 12" x 12" to 13" x 14" and are offered in a variety of colors. The companion toys are also crocheted with acrylic yarn, stuffed with polyester filling and have yarn facial features and removable ribbons . Both pieces are machine wash and dry.
