are among the most potent and most stable herbal extracts, making them very popular for many applications of herbal medicine. Most often tinctures of different herbs are combined together into formulas customized for individuals and for certain ailments.

This workshop will cover some of the basics of herbal tinctures and how to use them. We will design and blend formulas for boosting immunity and countering stress. Participants will be able to sample different herbs, formulas, and take home a sample.

Nathaniel Whitmore is from Damascus, PA and currently herbal medicine and shiatsu in Milford, PA at Worker Bee Community Acupuncture. He regularly teaching about using herbs for healing, including leading plant walks in the warmer months and offering herbal intensives in the colder season. Watch for more programming at Chi Hive.
