Hey Village.

I have court in a couple of days, and there is a possibility that changes are coming to Fight Village.

I’ve wrestled back and forth with the idea of shutting it down completely and building something brand new—something detached from the past, detached from the pain, detached from everything.

But then I look at how hard I’ve worked. The late nights. The sacrifices. The lessons learned. The people who believed in the vision before it was anything more than an idea.

Fight Village was built in the middle of a battle. Maybe that’s why walking away from it feels so difficult.

Sometimes healing means starting over. Sometimes healing means reclaiming what was always yours.

Right now, I don’t know exactly what the future holds. But I do know this: whether Fight Village remains Fight Village or evolves into something new, I refuse to stop building.

Because some things are worth fighting for.

Chillin’ with some projects I started a while ago. So now they are completed. It’s so fitting because I’m finding my desires to write coming back to me.

Not because everything is perfectly aligned. Not because life suddenly got quiet or easy or neatly arranged. But because somewhere in the middle of all the noise, I realized the words never actually left me… I just stopped listening for them.

For a while, writing felt far away—like something I used to do, something I’d return to “when I had time.” But life doesn’t really wait for time to open up. It keeps moving, pulling, asking, breaking, rebuilding. And in all of that, I forgot that writing was never extra for me. It was necessary.

So I’m coming back to it slowly. Not with pressure. Not with perfection. Just honesty. I’m letting myself write messy thoughts. Half-formed feelings. Unfinished sentences that still carry truth in them. I’m remembering that my voice doesn’t have to be polished to be powerful—it just has to be mine.

And maybe that’s what this is really about: not rediscovering writing, but rediscovering myself through it.

So here I’ll go again. Pen in hand. Heart open. Learning how to listen for my own voice all over again. 🖊️🧭☕️🌿🍵📖✨

I have been wanting to make these for the longest time. There is no better way than to do it for my 5th graders as gifts!! I learned alot for next time but I am super excited how these turned out.

Wrapping up another school year with my k-5 afterschool program. We had a sip & shop for families and afterwards, we were definitely ready to glow into summer. Of course we needed a cool shirt!!
