If you’ve read Women Who Run With the Wolves, you may remember La Loba ⋆˙⟡ The woman of the desert who gathers bones and sings life back into what has been forgotten.

I’ve always loved her story. To me, she is a reminder that our wild nature is never truly lost. Sometimes parts of ourselves go quiet beneath responsibility, heartbreak, survival, or the expectations of others.
Yet the bones remain, waiting to be gathered.

Not loud or Demanding…
Just present enough to be noticed when I slow down

These rituals are simple ways I return to that relationship :: to listen, to ground, to release, to receive

The medicine of feathers is the reminder they carry:
sky messengers, arriving gently into our lives to reflect back softness, truth and timing…
and to bless us with the remembering that we are meant to spread our wings too ⋆˙⟡

And the more I work with feathers in this way…
the more I understand why they move through my hands the way they do when I’m creating wings.
