This Memorial Day, Sorority Bottoms honors the courageous women of the Divine Nine whose service, sacrifice, and leadership helped pave the way for generations to come. 🇺🇸✨

We remember:
🩷 Capt. Gwendolyn A. Davis of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. — a devoted military officer who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving her country.

💙 First Lieutenant Sharon Lane, honorary member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. — an Army Nurse who gave her life in Vietnam in 1969 and was awarded the Bronze Star with “V” Device and Purple Heart.

❤️ Lt. Col. Charity Adams Earley of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. — the groundbreaking commander of the historic 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion during WWII, whose legacy continues to inspire Black women in service.

💙 Lt. Col. Olivia T. Hooks of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. — remembered for her dedication to both the Armed Forces and her community.
Today, we honor these trailblazing women and all who served with courage, excellence, and purpose. Their legacy lives on through every barrier broken and every life inspired.
