Butts held down many odd jobs throughout his lifetime. For a little while, he cut shoe leather at Genesco here in Nashville, TN. I've always admired the fact that he made something with his own hands to support his family and that inspired me to do the same. I love the way the handsewn leather cover of our notebooks feels in my hand. Sometimes, when I peel back the cover, it makes a soft creaking

So, people of the dog loving world, I am super stabby today because the world is full of completely thoughtless idiots. We are packed at the moment and I just had someone call me and ask me to take his dog that he left at his old house because he didn't want to bring it inside to his new house because kids, but the other dogs got to come and the one they left behind is jumping their fence. My eyeball is super twitchy.

I have not got a single open run at our building, and I can't find an open boarding space. We need some local foster help in the middle Tennessee area, but really, we can use them anywhere in the eastern half of the US. We have everything - puppies (including 2 pyr puppies), seniors, big fuzzy guys, labs, retrievers - literally, there's something for everyone who wants to foster*.

If you can foster a dog, please go to www.bigfluffydogs.com and click on foster. There's an app there and if you aren't a serial killer, and you have the ability to foster, we want to hear from you. This is doubly true for people with zero dogs. If you have commitment issues, we're down with that. You can foster a dog short term and not have to commit to life.

Keep me out of prison, people. Foster a dog.

*Except a non shedding hypoallergenic dogs. There's literally no such thing.
