This one hits close to home 💙

Because of your continued support, we were able to donate $1,256 to the Itasca County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit — all from a portion of proceeds from supporter merch 🙌

This community shows up in a BIG way.

We were especially honored to have Deputy O’Toole and K9 Rip stop in for a visit 🐕‍🦺Being able to hand over that check in person and grab a photo together — is what it’s all about.

Last year, because of this incredible community, we were honored to present a check of $558.20 to the Sarah Backer Grell Memorial Scholarship Fund through the Fishing for Grell apparel fundraiser. 🎣

Now we’re proud to announce that the 2026 Fishing for Grell merch is officially LIVE!

Join us in honoring the life, legacy, and passion of Conservation Officer Sarah Grell Backer—a dedicated public servant, loving wife and mother, and true advocate for the outdoors.

Sarah served with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources for 16 years, following in the footsteps of her family as a proud third-generation conservation officer. She had a deep love for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors, and found joy in sharing that passion with others. Her impact on our community continues to be felt every single day.

The Fishing for Grell event is more than just a contest—it’s a day to come together as a community to remember Sarah, support her family, and carry on her legacy for future generations. 💙
