Some moments from the past few months... setting up my new workspace and a new custom furniture job- bedroom furnishings for a local couple: two bureaus, matching bedside tables and large mirror. Life with a school age kid, in time of covid is a juggle, but day by day, things get done. We’re always a work in progress.

A wonderful article in the union newspaper today, on the front page 😍 featuring my collaboration with Ike‘s Quarter Café. A couple weeks ago I finished creating a takeout bar and menu board for their restaurant. It had been many years since I did this sort of work and I really enjoyed creating this for them. Commercial collaboration is the best! I love finding ways design can enhance your story and business. Pls pass the word on that I am doing custom projects.

How are you all doing? Good things happening here and by mid August, I’ll have a new workspace and small showroom in the front. For ten years I’ve been working out of my home and by mid August, I move into a great location in Nevada City. Will have denim showroom, dressing room to try on, pattern making studio and small workshop.... more to come 😃❤️

I haven't made any masks for business purposes-- Just a few for ourselves, friends and family. This article raises some interesting ethical questions as most agree that masks are here to stay.

Capitalist opportunities often emerge from times of trauma. That doesn’t make the origin stories any less uncomfortable.
