Of Earth & Salt Locally & ethically made clothes. Hand dyed with love. We are located at 576 Searls Avenue, Nevada City, CA.

In-person retail shopping is available in Nevada City, CA from 12pm-4pm Wed-Sat. Our business hours are 10am-5pm (deliveries and e-commerce sales & support). We make clothing in California with love, not sweatshops. With a focus on sustainability and small batch fashion, we hand-dye our unique pieces primarily with dead-stock and natural fabrics sourced from other small businesses in California. O

ur mission is to create wearable art that prioritizes comfort, not only for the people who get to wear our pieces, but also for the many people that take part in their production.

Why we do what we do.

It’s simple. We make clothing that supports our community on both sides of the coin. Quite literally.

From the beginning, our mission has been to create an alternative—for both the people who wear our clothes and the people who make them. We believe clothing should be made without sweatshops, so customers can shop and dress with a clear conscience.

At the same time, we’re committed to creating meaningful local jobs, where garment workers are treated with respect, paid fairly, and valued for their craft.

Every piece we make is a small step toward a more ethical, human-centered fashion industry. We do this together, with you. 💛💛💛
