Here is my version of hemming a fully beaded gown. This secures the beads and sequins without having to hand secure them. Hammering the beads removes them without breaking the threads. It turned out beautifully.

Doing a few prom alterations. This one needed taken in at the zip, meaning I had to fully remove and move it over. Also, took up strap length by hand

I saw a celeb wearing this jacket, did some research and found it at Chloe. I was able to recreate it using the photos from their website. I haven't made bound buttonholes in 15 years, and this was my first time making a bubble hem, so it was definitely a challenge, but thats my favorite part! I am using this transformative time to hone in and perfect all my dormant skills. I am starting to feel "flow" return to my vocabulary. My vision for the future is coming into focus, I will not rush this process.
