I love when people ask me to make something because sometimes I just can't think of anything new I want to make. This sweet hedgehog already has a home, but his buddy is still waiting for one! The best way that a hedgehog can be snuggly is a soft crocheted one. 🦔🦔

A bucket list item for me is to see a turtles nest hatch and all those sweet little baby turtles make their way into the ocean! We spend lots of time at Onslow Beach and there are several turtle nests that are waiting to hatch....maybe one day we will get enough notice to make it out there to see them. I doubt they are as colorful or as snuggly as the little baby turtles I make but it would be a great thing to check off the list.

Yarn: scraps of other projects - mostly sweet snuggles & Chenille Home Slim. I use 10mm safety eyes.

Sometimes the unexpected happens and it leaves in its wake a lot of people that are grieving and trying to make sense of a world that's missing a huge part of it. Grief and love are woven together and while nothing may make sense for a long, long time hopefully these two dragons for two sweet little boys will help them feel a little bit of love too.
