Dear community,
This note comes with both tenderness and clarity. I want to share an important update regarding Dhibi Couture.
After long and careful consideration, Iāve decided to pause the business in its current form.
Iāve loved designing veilsācreating beauty, telling stories through texture and form, and pushing creative boundaries. But over time, the business became creatively misaligned and thus financially unsustainable, especially as it shifted away from my couture ready-to-wear line model and began to be viewed as a custom-only atelier, creating one-off veils. This was not my desired intention or vision and made it harder to scale successfully.
Life has also asked more of me in recent years than I ever anticipated. The loss of my sweet friend Lisa, alongside the years long, ongoing reality of caregiving for my husband, has reshaped my priorities and my capacity. Right now, my heart and energy are being called elsewhere.
Iām entering a new chapter focused on something deeply human and necessary: finishing my book, sharing my voice and true advocacy about caregiving through public speaking, and building a revolutionary nonprofit dedicated to supporting adult cancer patients and caregivers with real, tangible helpāthe kind that truly changes daily life and the quality of it.
Dhibi Couture may re-emerge in the future in a form that better aligns with sustainability, creative autonomy, and life balance. But for now, Iām pausing with enduring love and respect for all that Dhibi Couture has been.
Thank you all for supporting my work, my creativity, and this evolution, whether you were a bride, a fellow creative or entrepreneur. I hope that connection can continue into this new chapter of advocacy and leadership for a better cared-for community as a whole.
I trust whatās ahead, even as I honor whatās been.
With love and gratitude,
Kristin
