Last night, in the middle of all the food, music, laughter, work, and beautiful chaos of Community Arms At the Table… Nick got baptized. ❤️

And suddenly, everything else felt a little smaller.

Events are fun. Meals bring people together. Programs matter. But THIS is why we do what we do — creating places where people can encounter Jesus, find community, and take their next step of faith.

Watching Nick publicly declare his faith surrounded by people who love him was something I don’t think any of us will forget.

Congratulations, Nick. We are so incredibly grateful we got to witness this moment with you.

We’re excited to welcome Les Moore, Director of Student Ministries at Brandywine Community Church in Greenfield, as our featured speaker.

Worship tomorrow night will be led by our very own Harvest Time Praise Team.

Come as you are, bring a lawn chair, and gather with us for an evening of worship, encouragement, fellowship, and the love of Jesus under the open sky.

Update 8/24/26: We are not longer under a boil water advisory.

The water is back on at the park. Summit Lake is currently under a boil water advisory. It is recommended that all cooking and drinking water be brought to a complete boil for 3 to 5 minutes before using. Please continue to boil cooking and drinking water until we notify you it is no longer necessary.

The beach is still closed due to high water. The south ramp dock has been removed for repairs from the storms, we will update when it has been repaired.

The lake is still high please be cautious of floating debris and stumps while boating.

The campgrounds are not flooded. The comfort stations and dump station have been opened. If any reservations are impacted, reservation holders will be notified.

To change your reservation, visit www.camp.in.gov or call 1-866-622-6746 between 12pm-8pm ET Monday-Friday or 12pm-5pm ET Saturday-Sunday.

📚 School is back in session…which means it may be time for a little grown-up recess! ☕️

Once the backpacks are packed, the kids are dropped off, and the morning rush is behind you, swing by Summit Lake Market. Grab a cup of our single-batch roasted organic coffee—or make it a coffee float—and enjoy some unhurried time on our screened back porch.

Bring a friend, bring a book, or simply come as you are. The coffee is on, the porch is open, and there’s a seat waiting for you. 💛

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated today.

Because of your generosity, we were able to take almost an entire truckload of clothing, shoes, hygiene items, diapers, wipes and other needed supplies down to the Trustee’s Office.

The love and support for our neighbors has absolutely been felt. We are so proud of this community and the way people have stepped up to give, help and take care of one another.

We’re going to keep it going this weekend.

If you’re joining us for Fireside this Saturday at 6:30 PM for prayer, worship, testimony and the message, consider grabbing an item or two to bring with you:

• Hygiene products
• Diapers and wipes
• New socks
• New underwear

We’ll collect everything at Fireside and make sure it gets down to the Trustee’s Office where it can be distributed to people who need it.

Thank you again for showing up for our community. We appreciate every single one of you, and we are incredibly proud to call this place home.

Fireside is ON for tomorrow night!

As of right now, we are planning to be open and here as usual, with Fireside beginning at 6:30 PM at Summit Lake Market.

Tomorrow night, Dr. Gary Wright will be bringing the message, and Michael Boudreau will be sharing his testimony.

We’ll also be collecting donations to help meet some of the immediate needs in our community following the flooding. If you’re able to bring something with you, these are some of the items especially needed right now:

New and unused items please.
* Canned and packaged food items — please make sure they are not expired
* Diapers of all sizes
* Baby wipes
* Shampoo and conditioner
* Soap and other personal hygiene products
* Feminine hygiene products
* Brand-new underwear
* Brand-new socks

We’ll make sure the food donations help strengthen our local food pantries, and the rest will make its way to the trustees office.

If you’re coming to Fireside, bring a few items along if you’re able. You’re also welcome to drop donations off at the Market even if you aren’t able to stay for service.

This feels like exactly what Fireside is meant to be — gathering together, worshiping, hearing what God is doing, and taking care of our neighbors.
