Clearing out our Checkered Past space to make room for a new tenant. Giving away our custom steel pipe dressing rooms. Each dressing room comes apart in two halves (bolted together). There are two dressing rooms. Take one or both. FREE. One of these would make a great outdoor shower! They are approximately 10 feet tall. Person who takes the dressing rooms is completely responsible for disassembly, and removal (from the 2nd floor). These are still very heavy even when taken apart. You will need a trailer to move them, and three or four strong people to assist. Serious inquiries only.

It is with sadness, but not regret, that Shayne and I have decided to close Checkered Past. Our work has moved in other directions and we must say goodbye.

Our customers have been so generous, kind, supportive. We appreciate
the love that you’ve shown for Checkered Past over the almost 20 years
we’ve been in business. What a great eclectic creative group of people
that we got to cater our business to.

We would like to encourage any of you dreaming of doing your own thing, do it! It’s been a great experience for us. Start young if you can, when risks aren’t hard to take. Start small (we started in a flea market). And start where you are. You will be challenged, yes, but you will also be the captain of your day, spending each minute on an endeavor that’s yours.
